Christmas present

My poor ex-boyfriend, he took a nasty tumble whilst bike-riding thanks to some inconsiderate driver and he felt obliged to get me a Christmas present, albeit a good one.

I’m now the proud owner of Christopher Hibbert’s biography on George III of England. Will be excellent reading when I get to it but have to finish a bunch of other things first…
