Over the last two days, I tested some lovely new stuff in an attempt to be a brunette bombshell. I kind of look like a 70s brunette pin-up, especially because the things I tried out are all shimmery and make me look oh-so-brown. At last! Better than consumptive pallid yellow.
Today for instance, I’m wearing:
(all MAC)
Of Corset lipglass (shimmery peach-coral, opaque)
Petticoat mineralised skinfinish (soft warm pink blush with gold veining, it goes on a cool pink on me)
for the eyes…
Sunday Best eyeshadow as a base (solid white-peach)
Boudoir Hues quad, but only 3 of the 4 colours:
Trousseau (smoky brown-taupe like moth’s wings but more silvery chocolate brown)
Loungewear (baby pastel blue with a hint of purple)
Silver Charm (off-white with a hint of cream)
I doubt it’ll last the day, it’s pretty hot and the heat makes me very ‘nappy’ (wanting to nap). Wonder what I should try tomorrow or in the next few days?
Forgot to add that I’m also wearing OPI nail polish in Infatuation. Reminds me of the song by The Rapture. They rock. Coca Cola zero does NOT.
