This fantastic place opened up a while back devoted to more cult beauty goods, which aren’t too wallet-crippling, called Kit Cosmetics. Since my health has been pretty good, I’ve been venturing out into the city centre a lot more often and recently checked it out for the first time.
Olfactory bliss! I picked up a few packets of Japanese bath salts, one of which I used last night. It was scented with lotus flower and turned the water a vibrant purple colour. It smelled divine, perhaps a little perfume-ish for my taste but wow…very nice. On the packaging was a frog and some Japanese which I couldn’t understand because it was in kanji and the phrase in English “silence after the rain”. Hmm. Very poetic, very Zen.
As is sitting in the tub, in complete silence, feeling your knotted muscles relax in the not too hot water.
I went to bed after and slept like a log.
