Yep, I’ve definitely become a tech geek – the evidence being I find myself checking blogs about blogging such as Lorelle on WordPress. It’s a good read but I stumbled upon this article and chuckled – I wonder if she’s taking part in NaBloPoMo?
I think if I ever do take part in the blogging project that dare not speak its name, it’s going to be way different and hopefully unusual. Like…every three days, a post has to be written in haiku form. Or each Friday, write about someone you know, and so on. Too bad I didn’t think of this earlier or I could have done this and not be stuck in this unfortunate literary (if you can even call it that) backwater.
It’s bloody impossible to get any work done around here, I swear. Yes, I’ve complained about it before…but why oh why must my father insist upon wanting to start conversations when I’m writing? Paper, pen making words appear on paper…is it not obvious?! I need to go on holidays to get some work done!
Today I read the burlesque part of Dita von Teese’s book. There might be some hope for me as a burlesque dancer after all – apparently stunning beauty is not necessary as it’s all the in showmanship. I’m impressed with the book so far as it’s pretty well written and researched. Still not fair that Dita has such a small waist and big boobs. Life is cruel to some of us, hmph.
