My mother let me place an order with Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab for my birthday, and the order arrived at the beginning of this week! Woo hoo! Some more fragrant fancies!
A few weeks ago I was a bit naughty and decided there were a few florals I had to get my pesky mitts on. One such one was BPAL’s Peony Moon, which arrived in the mail yesterday (getting mail is so awesome! oh and Ash, I’m not cheating, I paid for all this stuff eons ago…promise!)
Yesterday, some jewellery I bought from Etsy (an online place where artists sell their own homemade stuff). I got a ‘maneki neko’ (Japanese welcoming cat, for good luck and prosperity. I wonder what else welcoming cats welcome?!?!). Don’t you love the raised paw? It’s truly adorable.
I wore Peony Moon today and I love it - it’s soft and true to the flower in scent. Till recently, I didn’t realise I liked peonies as much as I did. The only problem is the fragrance doesn’t have a good deal of staying power - I’d prefer for it to be stronger.

I’m desperate for my Snake Oil to age, it’s smelling a tad ‘medicinal’ at the moment. I actually ordered one of the Lady Blues (someone hit me!) and have some decants of some of the Monster Baits coming. Did you see the Critters they had for sale, a bit dear I thought! Money better spent on fragrance…! Haha!

Ya, I think my 2 year old Snake Oil has aged somewhat but it’s still very strong! I’m wearing Morocco today which I’ve had a bit over a year. IT is so heavenly. Whee! You got a Lady Blues! I got just one decant of 13. I had to try to be good after the Monsterbaits! Yeah, I thought the Critters were too expensive too, but so cute! I actually considered a few and might have done it if it didn’t go off at 3am our time…am glad for that! PS. My Ecstasy of the Passion finally arrived today!!!!! So glad it finally turned up!

Maybe I should leave the cap off my Snake Oil for a day or so like I’ve heard they do on the forum to help aging? I haven’t tried Morocco, will have to look that one up! I didn’t get a decant of 13 but I do have one of the older ones, saving it for a special day because it smells divine. Thank goodness your Ecstasy arrived!!! Gee, that sounds ever so naughty, hee hee…
