I got this brilliant idea from Lifehack and in the spirit of trying to write a bit more and also harking back to my ‘20 lines a day’ experimental writing project, have decided to join Twitter and will be using it as my roughly one-sentence journal.
If you want to read about the Lifehack article, do click on the following.
If you fancy reading my one-sentence journal, go to http://twitter.com/snarkattack. It’s also a bit of an experiment in positivity. No Twittering about negative things and just a brief summation of my day. I may break the ‘one-sentence’ rule (because shock horror, I can’t be verbose or anything…) and as dumb as it might sound, I’m a little excited. Am also just eager to do things that will stimulate my writerly mind to get going again.
My first entry might seem negative but I can assure you, it’s anything but. Sometimes those days spent in one’s pyjamas all day and geeking it up on the computer are fun. I just have to make sure I don’t make a habit of it.
If any of you are on Twitter, let me know!

I’m on Twitter, but I haven’t used it for a while. This one sentence journal is a really good idea though. I might think about putting the Twitter link on my FB and giving it ago.

I heartily recommend giving the one sentence journal thing a go! I think it’s a great idea and goodness knows we need to focus more on the positive in our lives.
