Had a capital time (capital? don’t you love that as an adjective??? I do!) with my lovely housemates last night when I went out to the local pub and had beef and Guinness pie. Mmm. We chatted on things of all manner of amusement especially World of Warcraft, being the nerds that we are. Afterwards, one of my housemates (hi Rob!) and I went driving around checking the ‘hood and doing a spot of supermarket shopping.
I think I’m extremely happy with where I live - both the people and location. It’s really starting to feel like home and life has done nothing but improve since I moved. And oh god - the endless supply of beer. Apparently even my palate can differentiate slightly between beers as I found out when Rob told me he’d changed one of the kegs. I’d admitted to not liking one of the brews then tasted it again and changed my mind. Turned out what I thought I had again was another slightly different beer. Gosh this place will be rocking in summertime.
