“The only cure for grief is action.”

Is it true? (I should stop sleeping so much…)
(also, I forgot to state in my last materialistic post that I also purchased a copy of Charles Vess’ The Horns of Elfland…SIGNED! and it’s older than me. Christ, that’s old)
I wrote a fragment of poetry today. I have had an electronic music track stuck in my head most of this week (Jan Jelinek’s ‘music to interrogate by’ from the album La nouvelle pauvrete) and it inspired some poetic tendencies which was good. The concept of the poem was sex as interrogation (it’s a good bonking track).
Not that I’d know about that type of interrogation lately. Hehe. Though I did bump into a one-night stand at work the other day. Funnily enough, it wasn’t awkward. Weird.
New update of WordPress (2.5) is AWESOME.

Yeah, I think there’s something in it. Positive action? Just getting up and doing something…even vacuuming
something just to get you started, once you do that you want to move onto the next thing, be it writing or whatever else and not think about painful things so much. Sorry, did that make much sense? I need another cup of tea…

Yeah, I need to stop thinking about painful things…though something happened this weekend past that sort of didn’t really help that.
Mind you, that is also one of the reasons I’ve taken 9-7 shifts at work. I’m royally pissed off I had to come home early sick from my meds today.
